Multi Activity Holiday Camps
Star Hotshots holiday camps are an enjoyable way for your child to be active, play games and be with their friends during the school holidays. Your child does not have to be 'sporty' to enjoy the camps because having a qualified PE teacher as a coach will ensure your child is suitably challenged and motivated to participate.
Qualified PE teachers use their experience and enthusiasm to create a safe and enjoyable experience for your child to try new sports and develop their physical, social and creative skills.
Children are in age groups (but flexibility is available if your child would like to be with an older or younger friend or we think your child will advance further in a different group).
The maximum in any group or activity is 20 children.
For children to enjoy an activity and to learn new skills they must be successful. Therefore, it is imperative children play in small groups to ensure they play an active part in each game/activity.
Timetable
Star Hotshots are open from 8.30am – 5.30pm.
A varied timetable has been designed to ensure children try a range of different activities throughout the week.
Swimming is available every day.
For children aged 5 – 8 Go-Karts Thursdays.
Archery, High Ropes (10+), climbing and mountain biking are also available on selected days of the summer holidays.
The age related activities take place between 10.00am – 4.00pm and provide children with an opportunity to try basketball, golf, football, rounders, tennis and many more fun games.
Supervised 'free play' is 8.30 – 10.00am and 4.00 – 5.30pm. This enables children to socialise and play the activities they want to do. Some children decide to play football, some practice their skills they learnt the previous day, while others use it as an opportunity to play with their friends.
"My children unanimously said it was the best camp they had been on"
